As the Visual & Graphic Designer at LAFCU, a Michigan-based credit union localized in Lansing, I developed multi-channel marketing campaigns to support membership acquisition, retention, and product engagement. I collaborated closely with the marketing team along with other internal departments and external vendors to create impactful, cohesive marketing material.
As much as this experience allowed me to refine my design skills, I was also able to take away a deeper appreciation for member-focused financial services and the impact of strategic marketing in the credit union industry. I truly value the "People Helping People" philosophy and the opportunity to use my creative skills to support and give back to the community. My work included print collateral, digital assets, video content, and event signage, ranging from newsletters and social media graphics to motion graphics and in-branch displays. By integrating data-driven insights and A/B testing, I refined campaigns to maximize engagement and success rate.
Throughout my time at LAFCU, I had many opportunities to take on projects that encouraged innovation and outside-the-box thinking. One of my favorite projects was re-designing LAFCU's Financial Reality Fair, where I re-branded and tailored banners and packets for the program, enhancing its visual impact and overall cohesiveness.
